“Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, ‘Abba, Father’.” – Galatians 4:6

This verse reminds us of the deeply intimate relationship we have with God through Christ. We are not distant followers or mere servants – we are His children. And because of this identity, God has placed His very Spirit within us. The Holy Spirit is not only a comforter and guide but the personal connection that allows us to cry out to God with the affection and trust of a child saying, “Abba, Father.” This is a relationship rooted in love, not fear. It’s an assurance that we are fully accepted, fully known, and fully loved. In our moments of doubt or struggle, we can rest in the truth that God’s Spirit within us continually testifies to our adoption as sons and daughters of the King.
