Be Still & Shine
“Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10
In a world that never seems to slow down, it can feel like stillness is a luxury we cannot afford. The constant buzz of activity, demands, and distractions can leave us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected. But in the midst of all this, Psalm 46:10 invites us to pause and simply be still.
Being still is not just about quieting our surroundings, it’s about silencing the chaos within. In the stillness, we are reminded of God’s sovereignty, His presence, and His peace.
The call to “be still” is a powerful act of resistance against the noise of the world. It is in stillness that faith is rekindled, identity is restored, and we allow God’s light to break through our shadows. The more we lean into this sacred stillness, the more we shine with His truth and grace.
In this devotional, I encourage you to take time each day to sit in the stillness of His presence. Let His love and peace wash over you, renewing your strength and your focus. Trust that as you remain still, God’s power will begin to shine through you in ways you never thought possible.
