Faith That Works – From Belief to Bold Action in Christ
Faith is more than agreement with a set of beliefs – it’s a living trust that moves us to act. “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead” (James 2:17). Real faith walks, speaks, gives, and risks.
Abraham left his homeland without knowing where he was going – “By faith Abraham…obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going” (Hebrews 11:8). Esther courageously approached the king, saying, “If I perish, I perish” (Esther 4:16). Peter stepped onto stormy waters because Jesus said, “Come” (Matthew 14:29). Their faith wasn’t passive – it was active, alive, and bold.We too are called to take steps of faith, trusting in the One who never fails. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). As we do, God uses our obedience – however small – to build His Kingdom and transform lives.
